If you have an accident

STEP #1

STOP! Stay at the scene of the accident. Make sure everyone is ok and call an ambulance if anyone is seriously injured. Only move an injured person if remaining in their current position poses any immediate danger.

STEP #2

Assess if you require police attendance due to someone being injured or if a driver has failed to remain at the scene of the accident and may seem to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

STEP #3

Swap details. You’ll need:

  • Date, time and location of the accident
  • Full names and addresses of drivers and car owners
  • Car registration number, make and model

Try to get details from any witnesses to the accident.

STEP #4

If your car is unable to be driven please call us at Moonta Crash Repairs. Lodge your claim with your insurance company as soon as possible. This can usually be done over the phone. Then we at Moonta Crash can arrange your quote to be submitted and assessed as quickly as possible.
